Agios Sostis
The apartments are located in the area of Agios Sostis, a small seaside part of Lithakia Village which is rich in natural beauty
and part of the Gulf of Laganas, National Sea Park area, which is famous for the nesting of the sea turtles.
Agios Sostis offers restaurants, tavernas and small bars with large gardens where you can relax
and enjoy the summer nights next to the sea.
You can also take strolls between the olive groves and natural monuments of indescribable beauty.
If you choose to swim take your mask and you might be lucky enough to meet the famous Caretta-Caretta sea turtles
which lay its eggs in the bay. If you would like to see more there are organised scuba-diving centres in the area.
You can also hire a private boat or go on the glass bottom boat to discover the small bays and caves
that can only be accessed by sea. You can also visit the Island of Marathonisi, the island that is shaped like a turtle.
Also in the village are tour operators that organise excursions and day trips around the island
which is well worth seeing and car/bike hire if you would like to explore alone.

You will also find tourist shops with souvenirs, stamps and postcards, mini-market with fresh bread, eggs, fruit and vegetables
and any other product you require for your stay and all of this just 300m stroll away so you don't need transport.
Transportation
Agios Sostis is situated 3km from Laganas resort, 9km from the airport and 13km from Zakynthos Town,
where you will find the main port of the island with daily ferry boats to the mainland Peloponnese.
There is also a ferry to Kefalonia from a smaller port that is located on the Northern side of the Island at Agios Nikolas.
Flights to Athens operate daily all year round and during the summer months the airport is served
by international flights from all over Europe. If you wish to travel to Zakynthos from Athens or via Athens
you can also journey by bus. A bus from Kifisos central bus station in Athens takes you to the port of Killini,
(approx. travel time is 4 hours) and from Killini you take the ferry boat to Zakynthos (approx travel time 1 ½ hours).
